Six Runway Trends That I'll Actually Wear In 2017
I love Fashion Week. There can never be too many fashion shows, where the adrenaline runs high, and inspiration permeates the air. And the runway scene is always choc full of fashion trends that always look totally fab on the catwalk, but are incredibly difficult to wear in real life. But fashion is constantly changing and becoming more attainable for the everyday girl. So here are the attainable, totally wearable looks that I'm completely into for 2017. Check out what lies ahead fashion-wise for me this year straight from the Spring 2017 runways.
1. Mismatched Statement Earrings
The fashion scene is always into bold accessories. But the Marni Spring '17 runway has taken the statement earring a step further by mismatching them. I want this look. I looove it. Totally adorable.
2. The Graphic Statement T-Shirt
The Spring '17 Season brought us the return of the graphic/statement tee. From Christian Dior's feminist-slogan t-shirts to Gucci's signature-logo statement tees, the graphic tee is a wardrobe staple and definitely a must-have.
3. The Return of the Bra Strap
Parisian fashion house Cristian Dior shows the return of bold bra straps layered under corsets and camisoles. Contrasting bra straps are making a fierce comeback. Love it.
4. The Anklet Wrap
Hermes started a trend at the label's Spring '17 fashion show regarding the ankle bracelet. Instead of a dainty chain, they wrapped a necklace multiple times around the ankle for this chunky layered look. Perfection.
5. The Casual Corset
Corsets can look so OTT and complicated, but paired with a simple black dress, they can be a fabulous accessory. Kylie Jenner mastered the style by wearing a laced-up corset over a slouchy plain white tee.
6. Collarbone Cleavage
Off-the-shoulder and cold shoulder tops are errrrrywhere, to the point where I need a serious time-out from this trend. But a slouchy button-down shirt or oversized sweater that reveals one shoulder and some major collarbone cleavage is the new trend to watch. And I'm totally on-board.
