So as Australia heads into Winter, it's really important to maintain soft supple skin that stays luminous throughout the colder months.

Here are the five things I do to achieve great winter skin:

1. Use a facial mist... a lot
Environmental elements can really dehydrate the skin, so spritzing a mineral-rich mist on your face throughout the day constantly replenishes the skin's moisture levels. Believe it or not, but this one simple step reduces fine lines and makes a world of difference to your complexion.

2. Add an oil
The frosty weather can leave the skin looking and feeling cracked, lined and sallow, which is why women with flawless skin take the necessary steps to keep it perfect before winter sets in. One easy and vital way to ensure that your skin remains plump and nourished is by adding an oil to your usual skincare regime. There are a few different ways to do this depending on your skin type. For normal to oily skin, it's best to nourish the skin with an oil-based cleanser; however, for normal to dry skin simply add an oil at the end of your night routine to lock in moisture overnight.

4. Invest in an overnight mask
A flawless complexion requires regular facials. And the next best thing is investing in a good overnight mask that is able to replenish the skin's moisture levels. Apply a healthy layer on clean skin before you go to bed. I also recommend dabbing off any excess after 10 minutes to avoid ruining your pillows. I can guarantee that you'll wake up with fresh, radiant, plump skin.
