Chanel Autumn 2016 Paris Fashion Week

Autumn 2016 Ready-To-Wear
Paris Fashion Week

After creating an elaborate Chanel airport, a supermarket, a casino, an art fair and even a zen garden, Karl Lagerfeld paired back the theatrics, went back to its heritage and created the perfect NON-Chanel runway for Autumn 2016. With a beautifully simple white backdrop, Lagerfeld let his designs speak for themselves, from sugary pink tweed suits paired with matching leather-brimmed boater hats, to long off-the-shoulder knit dresses paired with black (or gold) leather riding boots and slouchy sweaters. Camellia printed skirts, quilted denim jackets and khaki mackintoshes completed the collection, with cute diamante Chanel emoji charms thrown into each design. And the best part? The return of the Chanel pearl necklace. Worn layered. In abundance. And the more the merrier. Literally.
