The Essential Vitamin Guide For Amazing Skin

The Essential Vitamin Guide For Amazing Skin

Vitamin A (The Anti-Ager)
Vitamin A comes in the form of retinol, which is a powerful antioxidant. Vitamin A helps stimulate collagen and fibroblast production, which tricks the skin into acting young again and again.  It also resurfaces the skin and softens lines and wrinkles. It's recommended that we start using retinol when we're in our 20's to prevent free radical damage.

Vitamin B3 (The Hydrator and Redness Reducer)
Vitamin B3 boosts ceramide production and strengthens the skin's barrier function. And it's perfect for locking in moisture and keeping irritants and pollutants out. Vitamin B3 is used for post-operative procedures as it reduces hyperpigmentation and evens out skin tone. Skin specialists state that B3 is the best vitamin for those with dehydrated, dry and thirsty skin. It's a big drink of water for your complexion.

Vitamin C (The Brightener)
Vitamin C is a topical antioxidant that fights free radicals that form wrinkles and dullness. There are different types, but the general rule is that if you have sensitive skin, you want to look for a stable form (otherwise known as a no-sting formula) because Vitamin C can be very acidic. It's recommended that Vitamin C is used every day under your sunscreen.

Vitamin E (The Repairer and Moisturiser)
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that reduces the formation of free radicals and helps strengthen the skin's moisture barrier. You'll find Vitamin E in all after-sun skincare products and serums/creams that treat scarring and stretch marks. It's a must-have for all skin types.
