SIX REASONS TO START RUNNING

Other than surfing, I love running. There's no need for a gym membership or special equipment. All you need to do is get outdoors and put one foot in front of the other. Here are the top six reasons why running is so important to me.

It's easy to start
All you need is a good pair of shoes, a great sports bra, a comfy t-shirt and a pair of leggings. Too easy.

It burns calories
Running is one of the best ways to get the blood pumping, the muscles working and the calories burning.

It's great for the skin
Running increases your oxygen levels and helps flush out toxins from the body, which gives your complexion a huge boost. Winner.

It decreases stress levels
Running not only helps you think more clearly, it also reduces anxiety levels and releases tension in the neck and shoulders.

It can prevent diseases
Exercise and an organic eating plan can help prevent heart disease and also helps boost the body's immune system against colds and viruses.

It increases quality of life
It's all about achieving a positive state of mind and focusing on the good instead of the bad. And running definitely helps everyone feel more confident, motivated and successful.
