The Easiest Braid Ever

The Easiest Braid Ever

Airport hair should be really easy to do, especially when you only have minutes to spare before you board your flight. And of course, there's the ponytail and the ballerina bun. But another super-easy style is the roped low braid, which can also create nice easy waves when taken out.

Here's how I do the easiest braid ever.

What You Need
Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray
L'Oreal Mythic Oil Colour Glow Serum
Mini elastic bands in black & clear

Step One: Brush hair into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck, and secure with a mini plastic hair tie. Spritz a little hair spray into the palms of your hands to smooth hair.

Step Two: Apply a drop of shine gloss to the length of your ponytail to keep it smooth. Then split your ponytail into two parts and begin twisting one section all the way to the end.

Step Three: Pull that twisted length of hair under your ponytail to the opposite side.

Step Four: Twist the other section of hair all the way, then criss-cross the two lengths over each other until you reach the end of the braid.

Step Five: Secure your braid with a clear mini elastic at the end and spritz some holding hair spray to lock in shine and keep secure throughout your flight.

Step Six: This is an optional step, where you can gently snip the elastic band that secured your ponytail at the nape of your neck and loosen it slightly with your fingers.
