Concealing Dark Under Eye Circles

How I Conceal Dark Under Eye Circles

Dark under eye circles are the worst. Especially when I've had deadlines, feel stressed, have had very little sleep or just feel under the weather. Here are the tips and tricks I've learnt from lots of make-up artists to keep my under eye area bright and radiant.

1. The first step is to choose the right colour concealer. I go one shade lighter than my skin, which will keep the area bright.

2. I try to use the least amount of product possible, so I apply my concealer after my foundation. This gives my skin a natural-looking finish.

3. When applying concealer, I always start at the bridge of the nose (near the inner eye) where the dark shadow begins.

4. Before dabbing it into the skin, I place a series of small dots (of my concealer) under the eye where the darkness appears.

5. For me, the best tool to use when blending concealer into the skin, is my ring finger because it has the lightest touch. I gently press the concealer in until the series of dots are all blended together.

6. Finally I blend any left over concealer up towards the eyebrow.
