My Essential Vitamins for Winter



I have a love/hate relationship with Winter. I love all the knits, the leather, the layers, the boots, and the hot chocolate. But I hate the cold wind and I really hate getting sick. So, here are my essential vitamins when I feel a cold coming on, and want to boost my immune system.


Vitamin C ~ I take 250mg every hour
                               500mg twice a day (maintenance)

Echinacea (liquid) ~ 3ml (a decent tablespoon) three times a day
                       3ml once or twice a day (maintenance)

Olive Leaf Extract ~ Two 500mg capsules 3 times a day

Maitake D ~ Two capsules twice a day

Micellized Vitamin A ~ One dropperful mixed with a shot of juice (for upper-respiratory infections) everyday for one week. For long term prevention, take one dropperful once a week.
