Berry Iced Tea

Strawberries contain amazing amounts of antioxidants and are full of Vitamin C. Berries in general boost metabolism, keep blood sugar levels sky high and maintain healthy glowing skin. Here's a great iced tea recipe that helps boost energy levels and keeps the sugar levels high naturally. It's so easy and I often whip this up over the weekend and keep it in the fridge.

Ingredients

4 berry herbal tea bags (Twinings or Liptons)
1 cup of boiling water
2 cups of chilled water
a small handful of frozen berries (raspberries or strawberries)
1/4 apple thinly sliced
ice cubes
soda water

Place the tea bags into a jug of boiling water for 5 minutes.
Add the other ingredients. Serve.
