Tips And Tricks On Saving Money

Tips And Tricks On Saving Money
Here are my tips and tricks on saving money, and still afford the things I can't live without.

A couple of days a week are "No-Spend" days. For me, this is a great way to save for the luxury items that I love and adore.

Always carry cash. I withdraw money from my bank account once a week/fortnight for little things like buying a coffee, going out for lunch, etc.

Buy plane tickets in advance. Booking flights at the last minute is really expensive (and stressful) and it's always easier to grab those 'early-bird' discounts.

Know how much money there is in the bank. It's all about respecting what you earn.
Regularly get the car serviced.

Buy hardcover books from Amazon (or other online stores). They are often 30% cheaper than retail.

Consolidate and pay off debt as soon as possible. Paying interest on a credit card is just wasting money.

Buy groceries once a week. This stops those crazy impulse buys.

Bring lunch to work rather than buying it every day. Boring, I know. But it's a great way to save cash.

Invest in timeless pieces that can be worn season after season. Fads can fade but classic is forever.

Use self tanners/gradual tanners rather than a weekly salon spray tan. For me, it's easier, cheaper and less time-consuming.

Invest in IPL treatments. I've had regular IPL (Intense-Pulse-Light) treatments for a while, which means my body is hair-free and no more waxing appointments. Too easy.
