Tips And Tricks For A Healthier 2014

Drink 2 litres of (alkaline) water to flush out all the acids in the body. Sipping hot water with lemon is a great way to do this.

Eat fresh to actively nourish and cleanse the body, especially lots of dark leafy greens.

Eat dinner before 9pm, and try to limit your carbs after 5pm. Eating late clogs the digestive system and leaves you feeling sluggish the next morning.

Get a weekly massage to dislodge toxic knots in the body.

Set attainable goals to feel successful and keep motivated over the year.

Breathe deeply 10 times, 3 times a day, every day.

Get quality sleep. Be in bed before 10pm and aim for 8-10 hours of sleep.

Try to eliminate acid-forming foods, such as sugar, hydrogenated oils, alcohol and soft drinks.

Start the day with 2 glasses of water and avoid refined sugars in the morning.

Have an epsom salts bath at night to release toxins built up in the body throughout the day. Amazingly effective!
