The Fish-Tail Braid

The Fish-Tail Braid
Fish-tail braids are gorgeous because they give more volume than the normal braid or plait. So, here is my guide to perfecting this easy hair style ~

  1. Divide your hair into 2 large sections, parting straight down the middle. For a sharper look, you can use a comb to part your hair evenly. Or, for a more tousled look, you can part it with your fingers.
  2. Take a strand of hair from the outside of the left section, and pull it over and grasp it under the right section.
  3. Repeat Step 2 on the other side. Take a strand from the outside of the right section, and pull it all the way over, and take it under the left section.
  4. Keep alternating sides until you reach the end of the braid, and tie it with an elastic.
  5. If the braid is too tight, relax or loosen it with your fingers.
Done!
