Could your posture be the secret to your health?

Acupuncture and deep tissue massage not only make you feel great, but are fantastic ways to fix your posture and straighten your back. When you sit at a desk all day long, you feel stressed and tense all the time. Incorrect exercising, sleeping on a poor mattress (with too many pillows) also cause strain on the body and can affect your posture. 

Here are 3 ways to combat tight shoulders and a stiff back - 
  • Always be aware of your body. Notice if you are hunched over, standing to one side or crossing your legs. Then change how you sit.
  • Take a sitting break. Get up and walk around, stretch and move your body. The trick is to not let your body be programmed into bad posture habits.
  • If possible, have a weekly massage. Getting a quick 20 minute neck and shoulder massage every week helps rid the body of toxins and tension, which means better posture.
It's all about feeling healthy and looking great.
