My Tips For Silky Smooth Straight Hair

Use an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner. I prefer using a hair mask, but any smoothing shampoos and conditioners are great.

Use a boar hair bristle brush to prevent split ends and breakage when brushing your hair. Boar hair bristles are easier on the hair than nylon and plastic ones.

Add 2 drops of smoothing serum to damp hair to protect it from the heat when blow drying.

Rough dry (hair dryer + fingers) or air dry your hair until it's 80% dry. Blow drying your hair too soon can cause frizziness again.

Blow dry your hair with a flat paddle brush that has a mix between nylon and boar hair bristles to prevent breakage. I like to aim my hair dryer downwards as I dry my hair. This helps the hair cuticle lie flat and prevent frizz.

Spritz a heat protectant spray while your hair is damp and after your hair is completely dry before you use a flat iron.

Straighten your hair (in 1 - 2 inch sections) using a ceramic-plated iron. I've always been told never to go over the same piece of hair more than twice. If your hair isn't straight by the second time, it might be wise to invest in a better straightener.

Hit the cool button of the hair dryer onto your freshly straightened hair to set your look.

Then add a tiny bit of smoothing cream to the mid lengths, to keep your hair silky straight all day.
