Five Ways That Kick-Start My Day




1. Make friends with your mirrorWrite some affirmations on a few sticky notes near your mirror, and take the chance to look at your reflection and say something positive to yourself. Don't feel silly, you're worth it!

2. Create positive morning ritualsThe energy we put into the world affects our state of mind. Thinking about your problems, as you get ready to start the day, only gives them power over you. Start the day feeling relaxed, revitalised and thankful.

3. Make your first thought a great oneBe aware of your thoughts, and try to start the morning thinking about the good in yourself and your day. This really works!

4. Smile to yourself Get into the habit of smiling to yourself whenever you can. Experience the routines of your day with a smile, and believe that the world will send great outcomes back to you.

5. Affirm yourselfPut your favourite affirmations on sticky notes and place them on your computer / ipad / fridge / etc. Write personal positive messages about the good around you and your expectations of the day. Encourage yourself to generate the right energy around you in order to make positive changes in your life.
