Sometimes truly hurtful people try to come into your life. Whether it's via emails, social media or face-to-face, these bullies often write or say awful things to you, and about you. Sometimes they'll put you down, then joke about it with others. Or, they'll deliberately hurt your feelings by picking on something you've said. But here are some points to remember:

People come into your life with a lot of problems that have nothing to do with YOU. They'll try to blame you for all sorts of things, because they want you to feel hurt too. Personally, I don't feel it necessary to accept these negative people into my life. I'm better off without their drama.

Be resilient. Remind yourself that you are strong. Stronger than they think. Try hard not to focus on self-pity or fear. It's easier said than done, but if you can create a positive 'inner dialogue' with yourself, it definitely helps.
Be in control of YOUR feelings. You can't control the lives of others, but you CAN control how you respond to circumstances around you. Your attitude is really important, and feeling defeated only gives others power over you. Don't let them.

Finally, never give up. Do things that make YOU happy. Surround yourself with people who love you and don't want to see you troubled. Talk about things. Find solutions. And never apologise for being you.
Have a beautiful weekend.
