How I Create Beachy Hair

Beachy Hair

I love creating loose beachy waves for work. It's easy, looks great all the time, and a really low-maintenance hair style. Here's how I get that "beachy" look.

  • Apply a large dollop of Amplifying / Volumising Mousse to the mid-lengths and ends of damp hair. An amplifying mousse not only nourishes the hair, but also gives it some volume and a little bit of bounce. Then roughly dry hair with the hair dryer.
  • Spritz some Thermal Heat Protecting Spray on the ends and curl 5cm sections of hair around a curling wand. I like large curls, so I choose a 38cm wand. Hold the curl for 10 seconds and let the curls sit/rest.
  • Break up the curls with a comb and add some body with a spritz of beach/sea mist. I often turn my head upside down and gently use my fingers to do this. Done!
